How it works

The Stroma^® Enterprise Data Repository™ is a powerful relational database and relationship management tool that provides all of the utilities necessary for storing and managing Stroma^® project data across the enterprise.

It comes in a pre-configured HP Integrity server with a range of storage options to comply with your business requirements; SQL Server 2005, Oracle 10g or IBM DB2. Multiple Stroma^® Tablet Systems™ can automatically discover the Stroma^® Enterprise Data Repository™ via a hardwired or Wifi network connection and using a wizard data is synchronised with the server.

The Stroma^® Management Utility™ provides a simple and easy-to-use interface to guide you through setting security permissions and mapping to Web server directories.

At any point security permissions can be set to restrict access to sensitive data within B&IT diagrams.

B&IT diagram are continuously monitored to ensure that the latest changes are always made available to the entire enterprise via your web server. Just tell the server how you would like them organised, and it’s all taken care of automatically. B&IT diagrams are converted into web pages on-the-fly.

Any Stroma^® Tablet can subscribe to the Stroma^® Enterprise Data Repository™, subject to your security settings. All subscribed data is made available for offline and online access, with the server managing synchronisation and replication automatically to ensure all data is kept current.
