Building your Stroma® Model Creating a Stroma® model is easy. Simply drag and drop elements onto a B&IT diagram. Each element is intelligently positioned in the appropriate OBASHI™ layer for you to choose its precise location. Double click on an element to open the Element Editor and then edit or view technical, financial or manpower information. Patent pending modeling technology enables relationships between elements to be created on the fly. To connect elements together simply select them and click ‘Connect’. You can also show how resources are dependent on each other by adding dependencies between the elements. Stroma® offers drawing aids such as Snap-to-Grid, Guides, Rules and Freeform Text which help you build the model. The model can be formatted to suit your requirements using standard formatting commands, including auto3D effects. Your model can consist of as many B&IT diagrams as you wish. B&IT diagrams can be organised into logical groups called projects and B&IT diagrams can be placed in as many projects as required. Projects are held in a repository and Stroma® is able to utilise many repositories. Elements can be dragged and dropped from the repository into any B&IT diagram, so an element can appear on many B&IT diagrams. An element can be edited on any B&IT diagram and any changes will be automatically reflected globally throughout the system. Your Stroma® model is made up of each B&IT diagram in each project across all repositories. Model analysis can be targeted to a B&IT diagram, project, repository or the complete system as required. Security can be assigned on multiple-levels from element access to full administrative rights across repositories. B&IT diagrams can be published to the web to give read-only access across the enterprise. Click here to interact with live B&ITs. |
